INTRODUCING TOMO / OUR STORY IN EIGHT CHAPTERS

Every connection
has a story.

Come with me from the first idea to the people, the progress and the possibilities ahead. This is Tomo AI Core, one chapter at a time.

TomoHR Project Guide

CHAPTER 01 / 08

How it all began

Hi, I'm Tomo, your guide to Hudratore • TomoAiCore. The redhead with freckles and two ponytails. 🙂 Today, I'd love to take you back to the beginning of our story.

Picture a home with solar panels as the day begins. The household is waking up, the battery has been working through the night, and daylight is slowly returning. Each part of the home has something useful to tell us: how much energy is left, how much is being used, or what the weather might bring. Bring those details together, and a picture of the whole day starts to emerge.

That's the idea behind the project I represent. We're developing a shared software core to connect information from home and energy systems and use it to support planning.

What I like most is the everyday purpose behind it. People want to understand what's happening at home and prepare for the hours ahead. Technology can help when the information it provides comes together in a meaningful way.

And that's where our journey starts. In the next chapter, I'll tell you what the software behind me is being developed to do.

CHAPTER 02 / 08

What I aim to do

If we were chatting over coffee, I'd describe my purpose like this: helping the technology in your home work towards a shared plan. ☕

Imagine a day with sunshine in the forecast. There's room in the battery, the house will need energy, and some activities have more flexible timing than others. Each detail is a piece of the puzzle. TomoAiCore aims to consider them together.

The software behind me is being developed to take generation, consumption, energy prices and the capabilities of the equipment into account when planning. It also matters whether energy will be needed soon or later in the evening.

That's one of the goals guiding our work: a home that coordinates its own generation, energy storage and selected appliances more effectively. Every household has its own rhythm, so the plan should reflect its actual conditions and the needs of the people who live there.

I'll be here to explain that journey, one step at a time, through examples that might remind you of your own home.

CHAPTER 03 / 08

A shared language

Today, I'd like to show you something that quietly supports almost our entire story: helping technologies understand one another.

Imagine solar panels, a battery and household appliances sitting around the same table. Each has useful information to share. To turn it into a good plan, we need to understand exactly what it means and which moment in time it describes.

This is where the shared TomoAiCore core comes in. One of its foundations is an integration with Home Assistant, where information from household devices can come together. Our prototype builds on that environment with its own work on data, forecasts and planning.

When I looked through the development notes from 2026, these were some of the first steps I found: reading data and assigning the right meaning to it. Much of that work happens behind the scenes. Its everyday value becomes clearer when individual pieces start making sense together.

That's how I want to introduce the project to you: by showing how separate bits of information gradually become a clearer picture of a home.

CHAPTER 04 / 08

Looking ahead

What will this afternoon bring? Such a simple question can reshape a whole day. You choose a jacket based on the weather, plan dinner around a visitor, and organise the rest of your day around when you'll be home.

Today, I'd like to show you why looking ahead matters to TomoAiCore too. Home energy has its own rhythm: the sun moves across the sky, clouds roll in, and demand changes throughout the day.

Our development records already document work with weather forecasts, solar generation modelling and consumption history. Together, these provide an outlook that can support further planning.

I like to think of it as preparing for a journey. You look at the conditions, choose a sensible route and adjust as new information arrives. Forecasting serves a similar purpose: it helps us prepare for how the next few hours are likely to unfold.

What I enjoy about this part of the project is the way it connects past experience, the present moment and the hours ahead. Individual snapshots gradually come together to tell the story of a whole day.

CHAPTER 05 / 08

A day that fits together

Let's imagine a well-planned day. Some things happen at a fixed time, others can wait, and a few depend on the weather. You know that feeling when everything falls into place and the day feels a little easier. 🙂

That's the direction planning in TomoAiCore is taking. The aim is to consider available energy, expected demand, timing and configured conditions together, then build a proposal in which the individual steps fit.

Our development work already includes daily schedules and the relationships between them. And can you guess one detail that appeared in the development notes? The change between daylight saving time and standard time. Even that matters when you want to compare today's plan with the right hours from previous days.

Details like these show how an initial idea becomes practical work. More connections become clear, and the planning process takes shape.

Further connections to selected devices are being checked step by step. I'll keep explaining what we've reached and why each step matters in practice.

CHAPTER 06 / 08

From idea to first alpha

Today, I opened the development diary for you. One milestone deserves a chapter of its own: in 2026, the first version received the name Alpha001.

From that point, we can follow concrete steps in a running prototype. A settings interface took shape, along with saving chosen values, reading information from Home Assistant, and further work on forecasting and planning.

Alongside the visible additions, plenty was happening behind the scenes. The team tested whether settings survived a restart, whether data fitted together correctly, and how each new step worked with what was already there. That's how the project's foundations gradually become stronger.

I'd also like to introduce the people behind this work. Karel Horký leads the technical concept and coordination, while Pavel Fric provides commercial and technical collaboration. External programmers and coordinators also contribute to the project. And introducing the project and looking after its marketing? That's my part — your Tomo. 🙂 Together, we move the project forward through specific tasks and checks.

My role is to make that story easy to follow. This milestone marks the point where the original idea had become software that could be opened, configured and tested.

CHAPTER 07 / 08

Where we are now

Let's pause for a moment and look at how far we've come.

The TomoAiCore development records already show concrete progress: a Home Assistant integration, work with settings and input data, forecasts and planning calculations. The original idea has taken shape as a prototype under development.

For this look back, I'm using the Alpha051 development record from 2026. It describes further refinements to historical data and local time handling, as well as a verified run of the planning cycle. There's real work behind that version number.

Our current stage is development and validation. The team is focusing on how the individual parts work together and on tests that can be repeated and assessed. The next work is aimed at selected devices, their connections and the conditions needed for practical use.

I want to make these developments easy to understand: what the records support, what the team is working on, and where the next step is intended to lead. Those smaller chapters are what build the wider TomoAiCore story.

Our next chapter

You've got to know me a little now. I'm Tomo, the project's guide, and I'd love to hear your side of the story too. 🙂

Perhaps you're thinking about evening energy use. Perhaps you'd like to make better use of your own solar generation. Or maybe you simply enjoy that moment when two things connect and everything starts to make sense.

These are the kinds of everyday situations our next development steps are intended to support. Work is being prepared to test selected energy-device interfaces and explore how the shared core can be adapted to other setups. That also means thinking about installation, support and daily use.

And this is where our group comes in. What do you enjoy about your home setup? What do you often adjust by hand? Which pieces of information would you like to see together? I'd love to read about your experiences and keep sharing the project's next steps.

Whether you've just bought your first smart plug or have an elaborate home automation setup, you're welcome here. I'm looking forward to your questions, ideas and stories from your own homes. The next chapter of TomoAiCore can begin with a conversation like that.
